Warren Mace

     I got the pleasure of meeting Warren Mace who goes by The Dyslexic Poet on TikTok. He is from London, now located in Bulgaria. He is 65 years old. He is a Virgo so an extrovert/introvert. When he chooses to be at the party, he is the center of the party. You can also find his work on Writco. 

      Warren has been writing his entire life, but started sharing with the world during covid. He has written over 1,500 poems. He is currently working on his first book. He has had a lot of rich experiences in life full of emotions to write about. He has been married three times and was an engineer. Being dyslexic is like trying to look at words through a kaleidoscope. He finally decided to write it down as his friends encouraged him to write a book. He is also working on an auto-biography at the same time. Poetry helped him to cohesively get his words down on paper. He has a photographic memory. His poems paint a very vivid image in your mind.

     David Bowie is his biggest inspiration and William Burroughs. Bowie's songs really spoke to him. He prefers obscure writing such as Broski. Bulgarian poetry when translated correctly is beautiful. A lot of his inspiration comes from music in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Music is viewed as poetry and loves the weaving of Bowe Prince's words. 

     He hopes his readers can feel his emotion as they read his words. He likes to hide Easter eggs in his poems and enjoys when others can find them. We get out of poetry what we need. He really hopes that he touches someone with his words.
