Sue Crawford
I got the pleasure of meeting Sue Crawford on TikTok. She is located in the United Kingdom in England. She has been writing poetry her entire life. She has a background in counseling. She is a grandma and has an autistic son.
She enjoys writing poetry, short stories, and novels. She writes a wide variety and loves to write from the one person's perspective in short stories. Most of her novels are based around the 1970's and are geared toward females. She enjoys writing about nostalgia. This series has not published yet.
Her son is a big inspiration for her. She has learned patience, communication, and so much more from him and what he has endured. She was inspired by Allen Bennet. Bill Bryson is a non-fiction writer she enjoys and Pat Barker who wrote Silence of the Girls which is about Greek Myths is another.
She hopes that her readers understand emotion from a females perspective as well as a deeper understanding about domestic violence. She is part of a poetry group that gives insight to poverty and those who are less fortunate in life. There are lots of workshops like Amnesty International. She encourages people to write whether it rhymes or not. Writing it down and just getting it out there is very helpful in life. Check out the audio pod cast to hear an amazing poem called Ultimate.
