Miss Imani
I got the honor of meeting Imani through the Jshine open mic on TikTok. Imani is a music artist, poet, and artist. Her two new singles just hit all platforms. "No Satisfaction" which is a collaborated piece and "Window" are the titles of these amazing songs.
Miss Imani is a young entrepreneur who with all the obstacles she has had to overcome has still came out shining on the other side. Imani wants to be an actress, do voice over, be a published author, and so much more.
She hopes that her listeners and readers know that there is someone out there for them. Their people are out there. Meeting her friends on TikTok is where she became brave enough to sing her heart out. What an amazing voice she has.
Her art is inspired by Liberace and Eartha Kitt. She remembers watching Liberace with her grandma when she was little. Eartha Kitt's song "I Want to Be Evil" and her entire back story are influential.

Imani is working on a video for her first single as well as publishing her first poetry book. The book is going to be called "Shame, Shame, Shame." It will be sensitive in theme. This book is about shame and what has held her back from pursuing her dreams and what sent her through a turmoil in time. She hopes that others are able to get something out of that and try and prevent others from going through what she went through.
