Pamela Walsh & Joshua Wells
I got to meet Pam through the Jshine Radio Show in the mornings on TikTok. She is an amazing poet, singer, and artist. Focused on healing this amazing soul is learning to embrace what she has been through. Pam enjoys making the kids smile on the bus daily. Pam makes beautiful paintings and gourmet chocolate magnets as well as other forms of beautiful art.
Vera Fox is one of Pam's favorite writers. C.S. Lewis and a lot of fantasy writers from growing up like Piers Anthony, Margaret Wise, and Anne McCaffrey. That is what got her started as using language as an art form.
Lady Shyne on TikTok and owner of Sunshine Express Entertainment is one of her biggest inspirations. She is on many platforms and has a Sunday night prompt open mic on TikTok. Pam started going about a year ago and said Lady Shyne has so much love for everyone and is very encouraging. Josh looked over and said just tell the story and she has grown to verbally express herself better.
Pam looks up to her 94 year old mother who raised 7 kids and was a nurse. She had an unstoppable nature that you could not shake her. She remembers her mom saying she was fine when she was six years old and got hurt and cleaned it up when got home, because she fell running in sandals she was not supposed to be running in. She has a pragmatism that you can't argue with and the calm in her is something Pam has always tried to emulate.
Pam who is officially Pamela Walsh Arts does do art pieces, so if you are looking for an epic piece reach out to her. She has several art pieces that are in museums. She is also working on a short story that is turning into a book as well as poetry books that she is getting ready to publish.
I got to meet Josh through the Jshine Radio Show in the mornings on TikTok as well. He has been through broken as well and wanted to create a community where broken people could heal together with a dream of a one arts community. Josh is retired Army. After deciding to go live a few times of poetry for a healing community he came across Pam. One morning he could not sleep so went live with his Spotify playlist and people were saying it was helping them, so he continued to do it. It was you are not just doing radio here but shining and that is how it became the Jshine platform that became about a community of healing the broken. Josh is also a song writer and guitar player.
C.S. Lewis is one of Josh's favorites as well. For novels he enjoys The Count of Montecristo, The Hunch back, Victor Hugo. For poets Josh enjoys Chaucer and Shakespeare, but mostly got his rhythm from time spent on a vacation from guys who learned their poetry from the streets and that shaped a lot of his writing. He is in a massive project with Dasha Kelly Hamilton to help bring voices to the writers in prison.
Josh looks to surround himself to be the man he aims to be, which he calls his circle of counselors. This is a Bible study group on Fridays where they hold you accountable and influence him. His mom is who taught him how to be a man of ministry from the heart. His dad taught him not to back down as he taught ministry. Poetically Dasha is his inspiration as well as Kenyatta Turner. Poetry was a hobby, but has now learned it is an identity and a calling. Lady Shyne taught him how to host and what creating the community was like.
